Rolex GMT-Master II 16760
The Rolex GMT-Master II 16760 is the first GMT-Master II reference. It is also known as the “Fat Lady” due to its thicker case, a necessary design feature to accommodate the new movement, the Calibre 3085. Featuring a 40mm measurement and 100m water resistance, the Rolex 16760 is paired with the famous black and red ‘Coke’ bezel and available on either an Oyster or Jubilee bracelet. In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, the watch, with its scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and 48-hour power reserve, qualifies as a highly functional tool watch. Discontinued in 1988, the GMT-Master II 16760 ‘Fat Lady’ remains one of the most enduring must-haves.
