Rolex Milgauss 1019
In 1958, Rolex released the Milgauss 1019, which went on to become one of the brand’s longest-running references. Made of stainless steel, the watch measures 38mm, houses the Calibre 1580 with a soft iron Faraday cage and is most commonly seen with a silver or matte black dial. Other unique features include a distinct arrow-tipped seconds hand and an acrylic crystal, giving an old-school charm. Initially, the Rolex 1019 was designed for engineers and scientists exposed to magnetic fields. However, over time, it evolved into a refined, all-business watch, gaining increasing popularity among collectors. If you’re a fan of vintage Rolex, the Milgauss 1019, with its historical significance and understated 'stealth' appeal, is extremely valuable.
