There was a lot to watch at this year’s first award ceremony, the 80th Golden Globes. While big names like Jennifer Coolidge, Colin Farrell and Austin Butler took home some worthy awards, the night was rightfully claimed by what the stars were wearing on their wrists!
The Golden Globes 2023 was a watch connoisseur’s paradise. Celebrities like Andrew Garfield, Eddie Redmayne, Jay Ellis and Sebastian Stan sported some of the most standout timepieces in style.
Here’s a bunch of the best watches from the big night.
Nominated for the Best Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made For TV, Sebastian Stan walked the carpet wearing a modern and neat black tuxedo. However, the watch peeping under the velvet sleeves surpassed this hot look to gain notice. He was wearing a marvellous Tag Heuer underneath.
Crediting to its racecar-driving past, the Tag Heuer Carrera Date has the soul of a sports watch, and when paired with the velvet tuxedo, it won the red carpet and millions of hearts. The watch finely complimented his appearance and is definitely one of our favourites from the night.
There were many great menswear looks from this year’s Golden Globes Awards. Another man to make it to our top list is Jay Ellis. The Maverick star looked sharp in a tailored black suede jacket and matching trousers, lending a classic red carpet appearance. Adding a bit more shine and sophistication was the Cartier Tank Americaine on his wrist that proved classics are always a sure-shot way to turn heads on any major event.

Best known for his childhood roles in Indiana Jones and The Goonies, Ke Huy Quan made a strong impression past year with his critically acclaimed role in Everywhere Everything All at Once. The actor took home the award for Best Supporting Actor. But what caught the attention was his small but mighty timepiece.
Quan chose to wear an Omega DeVille Prestige timepiece with his tuxedo, proving that big things do come in small packages. The stainless steel and 18ct yellow gold case of this relatively small 34mm watch gave some notable flashes on his wrist as the actor celebrated his career’s biggest win that night.
Jeremy Allen White’s critically acclaimed role in The Bear has earned him a Golden Globe honour. In the movie, Jeremy portrayed a chef returning home to run his family-owned sandwich shop. The thing that gained the actor smooth approval from his fans and also from us is the Vacheron Constantin Patrimony in rose gold.
The 40mm timepiece draws inspiration from a 1957 Vacheron Constantin watch and has a round, ultra-thin case. Not to mention, it is what many watch fans dream of. The piece looked particularly chic and elegant on ‘The Bear’ star wearing a Dior tux.
Everyone is talking about him, and why not? Andrew Garfield was hands-down one of the best-dressed men at the Golden Globes 2023. Everything about him was a show-stopper, whether it was his charming orange Zegna suit or his decision to match it with the dial of his Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra. His energy in the terracotta suit with a black shirt and tieless tie was lethal.
However, it was the Omega wristwatch that accentuated his look tenfold. The stunning Spider-Man actor definitely knows how to dress like a stunner.
Eddie Redmayne never disappoints when making stylish appearances on the red carpet. The actor gracefully joined the best-dressed men list as he sported a fantastic flower on his tuxedo suit. The Fantastic Beasts actor is a known Omega ambassador, so it’s only expected of him to pick a stunning Omega for the event.
He wore a 40mm Omega DeVille Tresor Co-Axial Chronometer on his wrist that we just couldn’t ignore. The rose gold case against the dark blue dial offers a rich and nice contrast, resulting in a ‘modern-meets-vintage’ fit.
Another man who made it visible that he was having the best night of his life was Barry Keoghan. Even though the actor did not win the Best Supporting Actor award, his baby blue LV suit and an Omega Speedmaster ’57 watch with a blue dial featuring ‘Broad Arrow’ hands gained him all the praise and attention.
The Irish actor certainly knows how to dress like a winner. We must acknowledge that the ‘Eternals’ actor’s stylist did a great job matching his icy eyes to the colour of his outfit and the blue dial Omega timepiece, making him stand out even more!
